Connecting Divers and Ocean Lovers to Protect Marine Life Through Education and Community Action
Scuba in the Pub is a social enterprise dedicated to raising awareness and building a community around the protection of marine life and habitats. Founded in 2016 by PADI Divemaster Gail Jackman, our mission is to educate, inform, and engage the public, particularly within the scuba diving community, about the importance of conserving the marine environment.
At Scuba in the Pub, we are passionate about the oceans. We bring together local and international experts to share their knowledge, encourage dialogue, and inspire action to protect marine ecosystems. Through our events, we focus on educating the public about marine conservation, cutting-edge science, and technology, as well as the role divers and the community can play in safeguarding our oceans.
We regularly host keynote speaker events featuring both in-person presentations by South Australian experts and Zoom sessions with national and international speakers. These events are designed to be informative and accessible for both seasoned divers and anyone interested in marine life. Stay tuned for details on our next event.
Scuba in the Pub Acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of This Land and Sea Country and Pay Our Respects to Their Elders Past and Present.
